I'm planning on getting a new laptop/notebook. The ones with 1G of ram cost a lot more than 512MB. My home computer ran OK on only 128 MB for several years until I recently updated it to 512. It now runs all my programs just fine with 512. Why would I need 1G of RAM. Is it worth the extra money to get the 1G?
